IMPORTANT - this mat is not for rolling up a semi-finished puzzle. (Those never work anyway, as puzzle pieces do not always interlock).  It is a mat for keeping pieces from sliding around and for giving a solid color background to make it easier to see the colors and shapes of your puzzle pieces. The mat is constructed of 3mm industrial grade, dense, needle punched polyester felt - no fabric to wrinkle up - mat stays flat on any flat work surface. The dual-purpose 100% cotton canvas cover can be used to cover the puzzle in between sessions and then is used to protect the rolled mat when being stored.

For puzzles up to 500 pieces: Mat size (22 x 28) / Cover size (24 x 30) inches

For puzzles up to 1000 pieces: Mat size (30 x 38) / Cover size (32 x 40) inches

When your puzzle is completed and put back in the box, use the included lint roller to clean up all the 'puzzle lint’ left on the mat.  Roll up the mat with the lint roller inside, then roll the canvas cover around it, secure with two cording loops with cord locks for clean and easy storage.
