D E S C R I P T I O N
This popular Pennsylvania German saying pretty much sums it up for this Dutch culture. Leave us in our traditional ways and let us enjoy our heritage. The first part of the saying is even included on the Pennsylvania German flag. Although translations vary slightly by dialect, the phrase "Liewer Gott Im Himmel Drin Loss Uns Deitsche Was Mir Sin" translates to "Dear God in Heaven, Let us Dutch stay what we are". This is the phrase that is included on the flag. The remainder of the saying, "Und erhalt uns alle zeit, Unser Deitchie freelichkeit" translates to "And keep us for all time, Our Dutch joyfulness".

T H E - B A C K - S T O R Y
With the advent of UV-LED technology we can make very realistic wood patterns on MDF wood products. The MDF is sturdy, is easy to handle and engraves beautifully. I was skeptical at first, because I really love working with natural woods, but I am sold on this new wood product category. We get a lot of variation in wood patterns and colors, without the hassle of trying to match and glue together various pieces of wood and then having to stain it to get the various finishes such as white-wash or weathered. Plus eliminating all of these steps makes the item more economical
