Constructed of 100%, 7oz cotton, designer fabrics, each tortilla warmer is insulated with food-safe Wrap-n-Zap cotton batting. With our German and Irish heritage, we never had a tortilla until our Dad was transferred to manage a manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Mexico. Now they are a regular favorite of ours, though the ones in Mexico taste the best and cost the least! With that said, the PA German (aka PA Dutch) in us does not like to waste anything, so have taken the left over fabrics from the production of our ironing board covers and created a colorful tortilla warmer/hot pad. Our medium-weight, 7oz fabrics helps keep your items warmer longer than warmers made with thin cotton quilting fabrics. Plus the thickness allows it to be used as a hot pad on your table. All fabrics are free of all dyes and have been pre-rinsed/air-dried.

We recommend spot cleaning your warmer after each use. It can also be hand-washed in cool water, with VERY little of a mild detergent, rinsed well and line dry. Iron it with a little steam to smooth out some of the wrinkles.
